SDSU 360 Magazine & 120 Year Anniversary

San Diego State University 360 Magazine Fall 2017

I'm very honored to have been selected to provide the front cover image for San Diego State University's 360 magazine Fall 2017 issue. The image is being used to commemorate SDSU's 120 year anniversary, and will also appear in an accompanying article on SDSU's website. The image of downtown San Diego was taken at night from across the bay on Shelter Island. I edited the picture in Photoshop to create a circular 360 degree image and was really pleased with the final outcome. The art director at SDSU added an image of their campus to the middle of the picture.

Many thanks to my friend Todd Bigelow, a Los Angeles based professional photographer for his expert wisdom and counsel - the cover would not have happened without his advice. Todd is a brilliant editorial, corporate and non profit photographer who has handled assignment work for some of the world's leading publications including TIME, Sports Illustrated, Public Radio International, National Geographic Traveler, Smithsonian, Newsweek, ESPN.com, Der Spiegel (Europe's leading news weekly), People, AARP and the Chronicle of Higher Education to name a few.

Todd also teaches "The Business of Photography Workshop" and provides professional consulting services - this link provides more information on both of those services - http://thebigphotoblog.com/
